Welcome to the Greenmont Avenue School!
I am thrilled to be the principal of this great place. The Greenmont Gators are a true family!
This is my fourth year as the Principal of the Greenmont Avenue School and my seventh year as a principal. Before coming to Dracut, I was the principal of the Moreau Hall Elementary School in Easton, MA for three years. Prior to going into administration I was a teacher for 9 years in Framingham, MA. I taught 4th and 5th grade. During my last two years of teaching I "looped" from fourth to fifth grade. This means that I taught fourth grade to a group of students and then taught the same group of students for fifth grade the following year. I LOVED it!
I firmly believe in educating the whole child, academically, socially, emotionally, physically, etc. It is important for teachers to get to know who a student really is as person and not just a pupil. Knowing our audience makes us better educators.
I encourage all of you to be actively involved in your children's education. Connect with teachers and with me when you have questions, concerns and/or ideas, take advantage of volunteer opportunities, and attend PTO meetings and events.
If you ever have a question or need support with anything, we are always here.
